soccer ^^
Sunday, June 13, 2010 ♥

WWOOO! FIFAI have just got to say that i have soccer fever, sure i still do like it like I do at any other time in the year, but this is different. It is the even that runs every 4 years, FIFA World CUP. Omg i am so excited, mainly because Australia is going to play their first game today the 14th, but 15th when broadcasted in Australia. ^^And, I am losing so much sleep and study time over this, I have tests (previous post) but I am still watching the soccer…..I am going to fail these tests D:
Last night I stayed up to watch the match between South Korea and Greece, and I have to say that I wanted South Korea to win ^^. I hope they can replicate what they did last night when they play Argentina soon. It was so exciting :D, and the South Korean team are good, they had great control and possession over the ball, but they lacked a bit after their second goal. They seemed to relax because of the 2 goal cushion they had, I hope they don’t do that when against Argentine who have got Messi and other world class players.
Anyways, I should really be talking about how much I want Australia to win….but I do have to say that it not very likely. I just want Australia to get out of the group stages and win the match that comes after that so it means that they had performed better at this world cup that the previous one but one stage. But we really need players like Harry Kewell to play to have a chance against Germany, I mean that have Klose even though they lost Ballack due to injury. We really need Tim Cahill to perform, and score a gazillion goals so we can win and gain confidence to face the likes of Ghana and Serbia.
Enough of my talk about the world cup, does anyone else follow the world cup? Who are you rooting for? And who do you think will win the world cup this year?
*my answers are Australia (of course), people say that Argentina will win…but I don’t know…..it’s pretty hard to tell. I’ll probably have an answer after every team has played a game.
